Our Programs

Practical, culturally grounded health education—built with and for the El Cajon community.

Everything we do starts with a simple idea: health advice works best when it respects the way people actually live, cook, and gather. Our programs bring evidence-based guidance on chronic disease prevention into the community—in the languages we speak and around the foods we love.

Multilingual Health Education Materials

We create free pamphlets and guides covering chronic disease prevention, culturally adapted nutrition, and lifestyle habits—written in plain language and published in English, Spanish, and Arabic. Our materials are distributed through local businesses, clinics, and community centers in El Cajon, and are always available to download on our Resources page.

Community Listening and Polling

Before we give advice, we listen. Through community polling and conversations with residents, we learn which health questions matter most to Middle Eastern and Mexican families in East County—and shape our materials and programs around real needs, not assumptions.

Local Business and Clinic Partnerships

We partner with small businesses, markets, restaurants, and clinics in El Cajon to put trusted health information where people already are. Local physicians review our guidance so that what we share is both culturally familiar and clinically sound. If you run a local business or practice and want to partner with us, reach out.

Community Health Workshops In Development

We're building free, in-person workshops on managing diabetes and blood pressure through food, movement, and stress management—taught in English, Spanish, and Arabic. Want to be notified when workshops launch, or host one at your community center, mosque, church, or business? Let us know.

Online Health Assistant

Our website features a free multilingual Health Assistant that answers common questions about healthy eating, physical activity, sleep, and stress—available any time in English, Spanish, and Arabic. It provides general education only, not medical advice. Try it using the chat button in the corner of this page.
